Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Tony Loutfallah when you use BrewSpace. They explain what we do, what the café does, and what each of us owes the other.

1. Who we are, and what BrewSpace is
BrewSpace is operated by Tony Loutfallah, an individual trading as BrewSpace, based in Beirut, Lebanon and contactable at support@brewspace.coffee. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator, and “you” means the person using the service.
BrewSpace is a booking platform. We let you see a café’s room, hold a seat, check in, and order from your table. We are not the café. Each café on the platform is an independent business that owns its premises, sets its own prices and opening hours, employs its own staff, prepares its own food and drink, and decides who it serves.
What that means in practice: your agreement about the visit — the seat, the coffee, the wifi, the service — is with the café. Your agreement about the platform — the account, the booking, the software — is with us. Where something goes wrong, the section that applies is usually the one that names whoever was actually responsible.
By creating an account or booking a seat, you accept these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for using a service like this without a parent or guardian acting for you.
- Give us details that are real and current. Staff use your name to seat you and your phone number to reach you when a table is waiting, so a false one mostly costs you your table.
- You must confirm your email address before you can sign in. Until you do, the account exists but cannot be used.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us at once if you think someone else has access. Changing your password signs out every other device immediately.
- You can stay signed in on more than one device at a time. Signing in somewhere new does not sign you out anywhere else.
- One account per person. Don’t open a second one to get around a restriction on the first.
You can update your name and phone number at any time from your account page. To change the email address you sign in with, write to us at support@brewspace.coffee.
3. Booking a seat
A booking runs through four steps, and each one has a rule attached.
- Choose. Pick a café, a date, a start time, a length of stay, and how many of you there are. You can book up to 7 days ahead. Some seating areas cap how long a seat may be reserved in advance; the booking form shows the cap that applies before you commit.
- Hold. Tapping a free seat holds it for you for five minutes, and no one else can take it while the countdown runs. The hold is not a booking. If you let it lapse, the seat simply goes back to whoever wants it next, and you can start again.
- Confirm. Confirming turns the hold into a reservation and issues your check-in code. The seat is now yours for the time you chose.
- Check in. Enter your code when you arrive. Checking in is what unlocks ordering and calling a waiter from your table.
What a booking does and doesn’t promise
- A confirmed reservation holds a specific seat for a specific window. It is not a promise about anything else — a view, a neighbouring table, a power outlet that works, or a quiet room.
- You may book more than one table at the same café when your group is too large for one; staff will usually put them together on arrival. You cannot hold seats at two different cafés for overlapping times.
- A café can close for a holiday, an emergency, or a private event, and can cancel affected bookings. We will tell you as soon as the café tells us. Neither of us owes you compensation for a closure, but nothing you paid the café for a cancelled booking is kept.
- Cancelling is free and never counts against you. Do it from your reservations page up to 15 minutes before the booking starts. Inside that window the café has no realistic chance of filling the table, so cancelling moves to them — call the branch and staff can do it for you.
Booking through BrewSpace is free for you. We charge the café a fee on each confirmed reservation. We never add a charge to your side of the booking, and we never take a payment card to hold a seat.
4. Arriving, running late, and no-shows
An empty reserved table costs the café a paying customer and costs the next guest a seat. So there are two rules, and they are the same for everyone.
- A 5-minute grace period. Inside it the table is still yours. Past it, the café may release the seat to someone else or record a no-show. If you are running behind, call the branch — staff can hold the table for you.
- Repeated reports pause booking. Café staff can report a booking you did not turn up for, or one they cancelled because of something you did. 3 reports on an account pause new bookings for 30 days. The pause lifts on its own. You keep your account, your history, and access to everything else in the meantime.
You are emailed whenever a report is made, with whatever the café wrote. Staff make mistakes, so if you believe one is wrong, write to support@brewspace.coffee and we will look at it. We can lift a pause early.
5. Ordering at the table
- Once you are checked in you can order from the café’s menu and call a waiter from your phone. The order goes to that café’s staff.
- The café sets the menu and the prices, and the café takes your money. BrewSpace does not process payments. You settle your bill with the café exactly as you would if you had ordered at the counter.
- Prices and totals shown in the app are the café’s, taken from the menu it maintains. If what you are charged differs from what the app showed, raise it with the café first — they can see the same order you can.
- Questions about allergens, ingredients, or how something was prepared must go to the café staff. We have no knowledge of what is in the food, and the app is not a source of allergen information.
- An order is an offer to buy, and the café may decline it — something is out of stock, the kitchen has closed, or your stay is ending. You are not charged for an order the café never accepts.
6. Reviews
- You can leave one review per café, rated one to five, with an optional comment. It appears publicly under your first name and the initial of your surname.
- Write about your own genuine visit. Don’t post anything false, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful; don’t name individual members of staff; don’t include anyone else’s personal details; and don’t post a review in exchange for anything.
- We can remove a review that breaks these rules, and we will remove one that is plainly retaliatory or fabricated. We do not remove a review simply because a café dislikes it.
- You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to display, store, and distribute it as part of the service for as long as your review stands.
7. Using the service fairly
Don’t do any of the following:
- Book seats you don’t intend to use, book to deny them to others, or resell a reservation.
- Use bots, scripts, or scrapers against the service, or try to automate booking. Booking is first-come, first-served by a person.
- Attempt to reach data belonging to another guest, another café, or another store on the platform; probe, scan, or test the security of the service; or work around any limit, rate control, access check, or account restriction we put in place.
- Impersonate anyone, or use the service to harass staff or other guests.
- Copy, resell, or republish any substantial part of the platform or its content.
If you find a security problem, we would genuinely rather hear from you than not. Write to support@brewspace.coffee and tell us what you found, rather than testing it against a real café or a real guest.
8. Suspension and deleting your account
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and a café can refuse service on its own premises as any business may.
- Where the problem is fixable we will normally tell you what it is and give you a chance to put it right first. Where it is serious — fraud, an attack on the platform, threats to staff — we act immediately.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Every table you are still holding is let go and the café is told, so nobody is left holding one for you. What happens to your information afterwards is covered in our privacy policy.
9. Availability of the service
We work to keep BrewSpace running, but we don’t promise it will be available without interruption or free of faults. Maintenance, a failure at one of our providers, or a problem at the café’s end can all take part of the service offline, and the 360° photo tour depends on what your own device and browser can render.
We may change, add, or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you depend on, or discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
A café’s photos, menu, and opening hours are supplied by that café. We show them as given, and we are not able to verify that each one is current.
10. Our responsibility, and its limits
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that:
- We are responsible for the platform working as described. We are not responsible for what happens at the café: the quality of the food and drink, the service, the state of the premises, injury on site, or your belongings.
- We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for lost profit, lost business, or lost opportunity.
- A dispute about a bill, an order, or the visit itself is between you and the café. We will help by providing the booking and order records we hold.
11. For cafés on the platform
If you operate a café on BrewSpace, a separate written agreement between your business and Tony Loutfallah governs your use of the platform: the commission payable on each confirmed reservation, invoicing, your obligations as the business serving the guest, and the data processing agreement under which we handle your customers’ personal data on your behalf.
That agreement takes precedence over this page wherever the two differ. These terms still apply to the individual people who use your staff and administrator accounts. To join the platform, or to ask for a copy of the current agreement, write to sales@brewspace.coffee.
12. Changes to these terms
We update these terms as the service changes. The version on this page is always the one in force, and the date at the top tells you when it last moved. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice by email to the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use BrewSpace after that means you accept the new version; if you don’t, delete your account.
13. Law, disputes, and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a rule on one occasion doesn’t waive it.
Talk to us first — most things are settled in one email. Write to support@brewspace.coffee.
